About the DDLIR-2019
The 2nd National Conference on Development of Digital Libraries in IPR Regime (DDLIR 2019) will be held from 21 to 22 December 2019 at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India organized by Madhu Limaye Library of the university with the support of Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The Libraries in the 21st century are confronted with issues involving constantly increasing information overload, changing patterns of resource management, new and growing technologies, specialized needs and expectations of users which are threatening the very existence of the usual functioning of libraries around the world and have pushed them to the crossroads. The Conference will provide a platform and enables interactions among Digital Library Experts, Law & LIS -students and Teachers, Researchers, Academicians, and Professionals for adoption, implementation and utilization of Digital Libraries and their future implications towards shaping information paradigm. The scope of the Conference will attempt to explore free access to law movement, digital resource management, building Library - Faculty relationship, the importance of the Copyright and IT Act in access to digital resources. The Conference shall also help the legal fraternity to develop skills in access to the legal electronic databases and resources.
